Hi, Martin here.
The last few days have moved fast. A bunch of what I said was "further out" in the last post is just here now, so let me actually tell you about it.
What's here now
- Accounts. Sign in with your email and you get a one-time link, so luckily no password to remember.
- RSVP on this site. You can say you're coming right on the event page now, not only on Meetup. If you already RSVP'd on Meetup, you're covered. You don't need to do both, but you can.
Also out now, and being tested:
- Membership, a small 40 kr a month payment (about one bus ticket), helps keep this running and lets you swap contact info with people you met at an event (in case you forget to ask in person).
- Hosting your own meetup, a picnic, a walk, coffee before work, whatever you feel like organising, with the site handling the page and the RSVPs for you. Your first three are free to host. This is for smaller spontaneous events, and if you have something more structured then contact me, and we can make it a proper event.
See you when I'm back from my holiday, and maybe there will be some new events for you to attend before then, hosted by great members from this community!
