Oslo pub crawl (every Friday)
First time at one of these? Here's what it's like.
Who's hosting
Look for them when you get there.
This one has been called off. Sorry about that. If you had a ticket, you'll hear from me directly about your money. Have a look at what else is coming up.
Coming? RSVP here
Checking RSVPs…
Sign in with your email to RSVP right here. You get a one time login link, no password. Already RSVP'd on Meetup? Then you're covered, no need to do both.
New here? Signing in creates a free account (18 and up; an event's own age rule, like 20+, still applies). See the terms and privacy notes. Signing in does not add you to the weekly email.
Already RSVP'd on Meetup? That still counts, no need to do both. RSVPing here too is what turns on the site extras, like the reminder email the day before and seeing who else is coming.
That's everything, there's no confirmation email to wait for. If the date's more than a day out, a reminder email comes the day before.
You're on the list. Signing in finished the RSVP you started, no second tap needed.

We’re doing a pub crawl in central Oslo every Friday. A few bar stops, short walks between them, and easy conversations where we try to include everybody and create a good atmosphere.
WHAT HAPPENS
It is usually three bars in central Oslo, around 40 to 50 minutes at each place with short walks between them. We start at YNG Bar and Social, Youngstorget 3. The second stop is normally Tilt, Badstugata 6. The third we decide together on the night.
That said, the route is flexible. If the group wants to stop somewhere else, stay longer at one place, skip a place, or adjust the plan as we go, we can do that.
The point is not to mechanically complete a route, but to have a good social evening together. If we don’t make it to every bar, that’s completely fine, we adapt.
Somewhere in the evening there is usually a quiz, written fresh for the night. It is there to give us something to do together, and you play in whatever group you end up sitting with.
You don’t need to drink alcohol, and we enjoy your company regardless.
WHO’S WELCOME
Locals, newcomers, internationals, and anyone who wants to meet people in Oslo in a relaxed social setting.
We’ll likely speak a mix of English and Norwegian.
WHEN AND WHERE
Every Friday. We meet at YNG Bar and Social at 20:00 (8 PM), Youngstorget 3, 0181 Oslo.
YNG can be easy to miss, so double-check the map pin before you head out.
Plan for roughly 20:00–23:00, with room to stay longer for those who want. You can arrive a bit late.
FINDING US ONCE WE HAVE MOVED
It is very smart to join the WhatsApp group before attending. That is where the useful updates get posted during the evening, for example when we leave one bar and go to the next, if we change the route, if we split up temporarily, if we decide to stay longer somewhere, or if someone is trying to find us. If you arrive a bit late, that is how you catch up.
You can find the WhatsApp group and my Instagram here:

WHAT TO BRING
Nothing required. Optional: card or cash for your own drinks and food at each place.
WHAT IT COSTS
This event is currently free. I’m building the community, and later I may start charging a low amount to make the events easier to organize and improve over time, but for now it’s free.
If you enjoy the night, a review or a word to a friend genuinely helps the next person find us.
SOMETHING TO BE AWARE OF
You need to be 20+ to enter the bars we plan to use.
RSVP
Please keep your RSVP updated so I can plan properly once I see how many people are interested.
The event has its own page on the website, where you can read everything and RSVP right on the page:

If you have suggestions, improvements, concerns, or ideas, I would genuinely appreciate hearing them. You can also comment with anything else on your mind and I’ll reply :D
